How I discovered the key to mind-body wellness.
Twelve years ago I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I had constant pain, I felt sick and tired all the time.
In my mind, I thought there was no hope; I was scared and my future looked grim.
I was stuck in a constant state of frustration, anxiety, and overwhelm.
I had a great life, I had everything I needed... a loving family, a nice car, a great house, a job I loved, and great friends.
But I didn’t have my health and I didn't know what to do or who could help me sort it out.
Then I made a life-changing decision.
I enrolled in university and learned how to heal myself using the power of food and nutritional medicine.
I learned all about how my body works and what I had to do to help it heal.
Healing was challenging but it meant I got my life back. I was so excited.
I finished university in 2018 and in 2019 started my business, Adelaide Nutrition and Wellbeing, providing nutrition services.
I began to see real results for the client I worked with and together we were determined to get to the bottom of their health issues.
But here's the thing, when you have any illness or health challenge, making and sustaining healthy habits can be challenging, I know that, and I noticed it in my clients.
So I studied hypnotherapy to try and help my clients with the changes and the stresses in their lives, hoping that it would help them.
And it did to a point.
They were more relaxed and some even found making changes easyier, but others still struggled.
But then I discovered something that was even more life-changing.
I discovered Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and the power of the unconscious mind.
I learned how using the powerful NLP techniques, I could remove negative beliefs and emotions and overcome procrastination and conflicting thought patterns.
I learned that each time I encountered a stressful situation, I triggered an anxious response based on how I'd felt in the past.
I learned that anxiety is a stress response that is activated in the brain, and it triggers all sorts of old emotions and behaviours.
I noticed an IMMEDIATE difference in how I felt and how I thought about situations that used to be stressful.
I was able to work through all the emotions and find a deep sense of inner calm that I never thought was possible.
THIS WAS NOT ONLY A GAME-CHANGER, BUT IT CHANGED MY LIFE! AND IT CAN CHANGE YOURS TOO.
